CNP never misses any chance to support the society and this time also CNP has done this in it’s own unique way. Cultivator Natural Products Pvt. Ltd. Jodhpur has recently organized a training for farmers of Rath OGG in Uttar Pradesh state. “Organic Farmers Training Program” (OFTP) was conducted on 5th May 2017 in Rath taluka of Hamirpur district in the state.

The OFTP is a robust learning platform for those who are committed to owning their organic farm business, managing farm operations, or working with others on their path to sustainable agriculture. Approximately 50 participants attended and benefited from the said training organized by CNP Pvt. Ltd.

CNP also distributed a training booklet and leaflet, having complete information about cultivation processes, various cost effective technologies, good agricultural and collection practices for medicinal plants (GACP) etc.

With this OFTP concept in mind, CNP’s goal was to impart the knowledge about organic cultivation, its modern and efficient techniques and several other benefits. The team explained them that the cultivation of organic medicinal plants is one of the sustainable agricultural practices which takes care of farm bio-diversity, a holistic farming approach which reduces the cost of production, higher profit margins and is a climate smart agriculture.

The CNP team urged the participants to adopt the organic technologies to enhance the medicinal value of the plants which they learnt in this training program.

The one day training program was comprised of lectures, readings, visual demo that helped them in building their knowledge and understanding. The program was designed to give participants/farmers a strong background and working knowledge of farm production, post-harvest management of medicinal plants to increase the market value of their produce. This training program trained and developed participants for their future betterment in sustainable agriculture and post-harvest practices.
